    Who gives up..?

    Story like this:
A certain cyclist started in a high-ranking race. His club mates with him.
It was terribly cold. Spring. 2-3 degrees above zero, practically from start to finish it rained! About 3 hours of racing.
A large peloton, over a hundred competitors.
No contact with the leaders. Fighting not to freeze!
A strong competitor, in top shape. Trained all winter by the best coaches in the country. Top quality care in the school of sports mastery.

    And he gives up!
I can't do it anymore. He says to his club mate.
    Are we staying?
    Okay.
    And they stayed.

I think he talked this mate into it a little.
The mate was also fed up with it, of course, but maybe he would have ridden it to the end.

The competitor looks, the peloton is moving away. They're riding with a club mate. It's even warmer from this lonely ride.
And he throws it to his mate.
"Nooo. Get on the wheel. We'll catch up maybe”
(I mean, ride after me, we'll try to catch up and we'll see)

Unfortunately, my friend stayed, he couldn't keep up with the imposed pace (he later complained a lot).
And the rider was chasing the peloton by himself, for a few dozen kilometers. He had no idea where the peloton was, whether it made sense. He didn't see anyone in front of him.
He was chasing, that is, riding alone, all the time at about 40-45 km/h
    He felt warm.
    Great, steady, lonely ride.
He liked racing in the rain.
He caught up with the peloton a few kilometers to the finish line.

As fate would have it, a strange gap appeared on the left side along the entire length of the peloton.
Practically without changing his pace from the chase, he bypassed everyone and rode on alone.
About 2 km to the finish line he caught up with a escaping group of 4-5 cyclists, who were ahead of the peloton, and setting a fast pace he was left alone with one opponent.
He almost won, but his rival was stronger and overtook him just before the line :)

    Such a story.
You can stay. Sometimes it's hard.
You have to catch up, catch up.
But as you can see, you don't necessarily have to give up.
You had to work hard, but that's what the rider needed.
In the peloton, it was simply too "easy" for him and he couldn't warm up.
From the most hopeless situation you could imagine, the race of this rider's life was born..

    Who gives up..?
    He's chasing!!!!

    Cheilitis : )

Such a story (a play on words that has a deeper meaning in Polish, cheilitis in other languages does not come from eating word):
Someone was sick, could not eat. He lost a lot of weight.
After the illness, he began to regain full strength.
    Large amounts of food.
    Practically devoured.
For breakfast, half a loaf of bread (like a hot dog), cut lengthwise, with additions. It was hard to fit it into my mouth.
Finally, the weight started to increase, fatty tissue appeared.
    Small pangs of conscience appeared.
"You have to start controlling yourself"
    But "zajad" also appeared!
Maybe lowered immunity, etc.. but probably that quarter of bread, sharp edges, mouth opened to the limit.. and that's what happened! :)

No more devouring half a bread.
Small pieces, mouth ajar like a bird, not mouth gaping like a crocodile.
Small breakfast, lunch.. and so on for about 2 weeks.

    Zajad comes from ZAJADANIA!!!
No one will tell us :)

Coaches and the education of a good athlete

The first coach is an important figure in the life of an athlete, the second coach can be just as important.

    What about parents and grandparents?

Is there any point in bidding on who raised an athlete? Let's say a world champion?

Maybe the key figure is the parent, maybe the parents' parents, maybe the first coach, maybe the second was key. You could, and even should(!), dig into your ancestors, who knows, maybe you can go back to the Neanderthals or even further :) Maybe someone there imposed a certain way of behaving that was inherited and imitated by subsequent generations.

As we journey through our lives, we meet many people who shape our personality.
According to the coach, ultimately, the father of our success (or failure) is us :)
And just as we should not look for the culprits of our mistakes in others (because there will be few willing people), we should not look for anyone who would be behind our success (because there will be many willing people).

    Better not to know?

There are some seemingly negative tips here.
The tips are intended to make you think. To force you to change where, according to JacaCoachTEAM, you can, or even should, change something for the better.

They are also aimed at people who are looking for their way. Just creating their dreams, and the world waiting for them, the world behind the door to these dreams, hides many secrets. Also dark ones. And this is not talked about!

    Why?

But what can be the effect of this?

    According to the coach.

Someone watches cyclists. They have a so-called "idol". I want to be like him/her.

To do something well, you have to devote yourself to it completely.

So you devote yourself. You devote your whole life.
And finally, the door to your dreams opens.
    And here's a surprise!

Oops. That wasn't in my dreams!

There were beautiful photos, smiles, money!
    And what now?

I don't have a second life to start realizing a new dream!!!

Why didn't anyone tell me about this!!

Or maybe someone said something, maybe someone tried to say something, but no one listened! Maybe he/she gave a million signals? Maybe no one wants to hear it?
A husband prefers not to know the dark side of his wife's work.
A wife prefers not to know what bad things her husband does at work.
Children do not want to hear about the difficulties of their parents at work.
Parents do not want to hear about their children's problems.
Going further, we do not want to delve into the dark matters of our idols. Is someone forced by a contract to undress, even though his/her worldview or family situation has changed, or is someone forced to dope (openly or indirectly - results or end of cooperation).

We often simply do not want to know about this!

P.S. When it comes to undressing (partial, total) for photos, etc. under threat of contractual penalties, according to the coach, no court has the RIGHT TO FORCE ANYONE TO UNDRAW! Regardless of the contractual penalties included in the contract.

Who is punished if a player is caught doping + a little story.

    A little story:
(A coach comes to pick up his player and invites him to a mysterious room. There is also a guest player invited to the team, let's call him "Jan", with whom the coach has a little chat)

    Coach: "You want it too?"
    Jan: "um... No?"
Coach: "But you definitely have yours"
Jan: "(but what, I have mine?)"

A coach whose players were caught doping and suspended in the following year and years (end of the players' careers).

A coach who later holds the highest coaching position in his country and other coaching positions and more.

    The story continues
the coach practically destroys Jan, who often visits because of his poor form
(a short explanation here. The coach knew Jan and his abilities, he had previously coached older cyclists in his club, hence Jan's presence - probably at the request of his club)
Jan finally does what everyone else does "to say goodbye", achieving success comparable to his previous achievements from 1-2 years ago

one of the coach's riders (a very good friend of Jan's) sees Jan hiding some box. In Jan's absence, he searches through his things and then tells him "oh come on, you have what everyone else has" (a rider from the top national teams in the following years - including professional ones)
the coach apologizes to Jan "I didn't know that was the case" (he most likely learns from Jan's club coach that he was without any care)
Jan ends his career as he planned. "too early, you were a freshman, this season will be crucial!", "you're not allowed in the club"

A competitor invited to a mysterious room, after years, asks Jan on a public forum "tell me why you finished cycling after such a good season?!"

A dig? That you were caught doping?

Such a story, because some people may not realize how complicated the world of sports can be. And here is a micro fraction of the life of still teenagers :)

A hint? :) Not everything that is presented so colorfully left and right (in order to create perfect characters) is so colorful in reality :) And not only in sports. According to the coach, behind the beautiful photos there is something disgusting, disgusting and distasteful.

    Positive thinking

In cycling, this is important, according to the coach. Very important.

Riding in the peloton with the attitude that something might happen to us, we are asking for problems. And this is not even about prejudices, knock on wood, etc. Riding in fear, creating black scenarios in our heads, we are so tense, we make such chaotic and unreasonable movements that the probability of an accident possibly increases even several times (not to mention, according to the coach, increases several times).

And it is the same in other areas of life.

Of course, the first thing you probably have to do is solve all the problems.

But if we already have a calm head, everything sorted out, it is better not to think of problems by force or look for them. Because by force you will always find something :)

And you can always use your free time for more pleasant images and thoughts :)
